Railway traffic was suspended in this area for two hours while the initial investigation was completed. The victim sustained injuries consistent with a fall from the bridge. The victim was later identified as Christopher Pille, 35, of North Seneca Street in Weedsport. Responding law enforcement and medical personnel found an adult male lying by the tracks, deceased. The call had been received by an employee of CSX railways who was aboard a passing train. Sheriff David Gould reports that on Augat approximately 1:02 PM the Cayuga County E-911 Center dispatched Cayuga County Sheriff’s Patrols to investigate a report of a person laying near the railroad tracks in the area of the Oakland Road bridge in the Town of Brutus.

It is with great pride that I make this nomination. Coulson was elected President of the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards. She was then elected as interim Treasurer for the Association in 2015. She was elected regional Vice-president for the association in 2014 representing Cayuga, Madison, Onondaga, Oswego, and Oneida counties. Another vital and important role that Tracie is involved with is her work with the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards. In October of 2012, Tracie was elected Secretary of the New York State STOP DWI Association and held that position until 2014 In July of this year, Tracie was appointed to be the Training Coordinator for the New York State STOP-DWI Foundation. Tracie continued her volunteer work between 20 at the State level by becoming a member of the Highway Safety Symposium planning committee in representing New York State STOP-DWI and the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards.
It should be noted that Tracie’s father, Jack Coulson, was Cayuga County’s first STOP-DWI coordinator. Her STOP-DWI works at the local level begin in 1994 when she was appointed as secretary for the Cayuga County STOP-DWI and Traffic Safety committees. Hired in 1986 by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office as a jail matron, she then became the records clerk and civil deputy for the Sheriff’s Office. Keith Ducett Jr.’s contributions to the profession over the past year are exemplary and numerous. He also works directly in creating data for E911 applications and training 911 staff in CAD and GIS. He has been involved in many E911 projects such as addressing for the Onondaga Nation, Syracuse, and Onondaga County. Keith promotes GIS throughout the year and especially around GIS Day, giving presentations to his GIS group and local schools. is the Geospatial Information Officer for the Onondaga County Department of Emergency Communications, an active member of the NYSGIS Association as well as the Central NY Regional GIS Users Group (CNYRGIS).
